Board of Directors

 David Vose, President
 
David Vose was a professor at Berklee College of Music for 40 years. He served on many committees including for the authoring of a 4 volume text for the study of musical ear training. He was also on the committee for North Star, an international famous drum corps, where he served in the area of show design. Vose has published over 50 music compositions and articles. As a music journalist he interviewed many of the world’s best known musicians including Beatles producer, Sir George Martin, television composer Alf Clausen and trombonist, Jim Pankow of the band Chicago.   He was also the recipient of the Berklee faculty Achievement Award and the Thomas J. Long Outstanding Achievement Award.
 

Lisa Mills Casey, Secretary

Experienced Professional Musician with a demonstrated history of working in the performing arts industry. Strong arts and design professional skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Sales, Event Management, Fundraising, and Leadership.
Served as a board member & Director: Kennebunk Parks & Recreation 2001-2014Gary’s House Portland, Maine 1998-current
Gary Pike Foundation 1992-1998

 
Donna Vose, Treasurer
 
Former recruiter at Salience Company in Andover, MA where she 
out sourced sales teams nationally for Fortune 500 companies. Former President of Heart of Boston Entertainment that provided music for various types of events. Donna has assisted with sourcing venues for the DBCSO.
 

Bernie Taylor
 
Bernie is a veteran of the United States Navy and spent 4 years as a Navy musician.  He also attended the Navy School of Music. He was the Vice President of the Stratford Wind Symphony board for three years. Besides his board duties with the DBCSO, he is also the horn section leader with the orchestra.
 

 Arthur Shannon
 
Arthur served as Vice President of the United States Association of Rudimental Drummers. Currently he is a board member for the internationally famous North Star Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. 
He was well known realtor with Century 21 North Shore for 9 years practicing commercial and residential real estate and was winner of the Ruby Award 2010. Formally he worked as a Service Director for Kelly Automotive Group and received a Diamond Certification. 
 

Terri Kenney
 
Terry has a varied and successful background in Public Relations, Business Development and Management, Community Relations, Marketing, and Event Planning.  She had owned and operated two successful small businesses for over 30 years.  During her professional life she had served on several various advisory boards and as trustee on boards of directors as well as chairwoman of various committees for non-profit agencies as well as private and public corporations including
the Greater Lawrence chamber of Commerce Title, VII Private Industry Council, Remedies Whole Health Practice, Wang Laboratories, Big Brothers & Sisters Association, Greater Lawrence Mental Health Association. Northern Essex Community College, Merrimack College, YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry, Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, Government Affairs Committee Greater Lawrence, and Ralph Lauren Industries.
